STORY / BIO

I decided to start BOREAL REBORN as what seems to me to be the most logical developement of vogue for now and for the future.

I have been wearing second-hand and vintage clothes and owning reused or recycled furnitures and things in my homes for over two decades now.
I took care of a vintage fashion project that I had a lot of fun with, through an e-shop and being part of vintage events and fairs for a few years.
I also ran a solo project making handmade accesories and jewelry but already back then I figured out that parts of the making were not in synch with my personal beliefs anymore.
I eventually also felt the urge to leave the city tumult of Paris and exile for a while.

Lived for over 8 years  in a wooden cabin in the woods on an island in the Stockholm archipelago.
Living so close to nearly unspoiled nature and wildlife was a life changing experience.
On the other hand, during my Swedish years I worked for a large trendy fashion brand in the city and I felt like I could not keep on promoting much longer ethics and a commercial system I did not believe in anymore.
Came back to France with a plan, from what I learned from my work experiences in the fashion industry to deconstruct and reconstruct it in a way that makes the most sense to me.

I now run BOREAL REBORN from a most beautiful national natural reserve in the South of France where I settled in two years ago, being inspired everyday by the beautiful environment I am lucky to live in and confirming my will to live with more conscience in a way that is more respectful to our Planet.

When I do not work on the project I take analogue photographs mainly inspired by making the human blend with nature.
I also learn about plants and their many fascinating possible uses and benefits.
